I have seen many conferences in the six years of MUNing, but some councils just stand out in their level of dedication and quality of debate, and MCSMUN has stood up to those levels that even college students with their vast resources and understanding of International Diplomacy and sources of research, try to rise up to. The commitment of the students left us at a loss of words, to see the hard work being done in council in the unmoderated caucuses and the work done while researching which was reflected in their speeches, this is the point of culmination an Executive Board considers ideal. With training, students who took part in this council, can become very good at this academic simulation and can win laurels for their schools. |

One of the most original principles of commitment is derived from an exhibit of work that reflects in speech. To be able to deny that at an attempt that was first, students at MCSMUN have done exceptionally well in the area of research and its delivery is almost impossible. It was thought-provoking to see the amount of study they’ve done beforehand and even more, to see their allegiance to diplomacy. Something that I’ll take as a lesson from these children is undying eagerness to work even towards the end of the committee session when usually even our enthusiasm tends to drain away. I think it is only justified to say that upon more of undergoing such sessions, they’re bound to come, not just as passionate debaters, but even wonderful people. |

The MCS Mun conference was a brilliant conference. Mount Carmel School has done a really good effort in organizing an MUN for the first time. The council comprised mainly of delegates who were doing an MUN for the first time. However this did not lessen the standard of debate. The delegates were well researched, and apart from that were eager to debate as well. As the rapporteur of the conference, it was a challenging experience. However, it was a fresh change from a routine college MUN conference. Of course, it is needless to say that the delegates need more training as delegates, so that they can perform better in competitions. However, as a first time effort, the conference was a huge success. |
